I didn't play dawnguard but from what I read and seen on YT she is not supposed to be marriagable, she even dogde your proposal with saying that she is afraid of church.īesaides marriages in Skyrim are borring, if you really want to marry her can't you just do this in roleplaying and whitouat the mechanic? You are all aware that you are writting petition about ficitional character from game so that fictional character can have fictional marriege with another fictional character? It is really frustrating when you spend valuable time getting the NPC/Follower -aka Serana- the way you want them and only to find out that all your efforts were nil.ĭan Scott Posts: 3373 Joined: Sun 3:45 am (Still, I have the same problem in Fallout New Vega's GECK too.) I would appreciate a response although that too may be expecting too much from Bethesda. Why is Serana so hard-coded? Incidentally, I don’t know if you are aware but there is a petition going around to not only make her marriageable after the quest. I have also gone as far as to uninstall both Skyrim and the Creation Kit and the same happens: NOTHING!

I have renamed the “Tintmasks” folder and Dawnguard’s “FaceTint” folder and Serana still comes out two-toned with no visible makeup –such as lip gloss and the like.

I have tried all of the suggestions that other modders have suggested to no avail. I am totally perplexed by the way Skyrim’s Creation Kit –(as well as with the Fallout New Vegas’s GECK)- doesn’t really do what it is expected to do, especially when it comes to change Serana.
